DEATH OF WAIMATE CENTENARIAN
MRS. ANN HUBBARD (Press Assn.) Waimate, May 13. Mrs. Ann Hubbard, who was 100 years old on April 3, died yesterday after one of the few illnesses of her long life. Born in Foulsham. England, m came to New Zealand with her husband, Mr. George Hubbard, and - S|V . children, landing by surf-boat in Timaru in 1874. zM'ter a years the family removed to Waimate; and bought a tarm on the outskirts of the town. Mr. Hubbard died in 1919, but Mrs. Hubbard continued to live in her old home, leaving in 1936 after 60 years, to reside with a daughter. Survivors of the family of 12 are: Mesclames E. George. T.
