ONE KILLED IN ACTION
WANGANUI DISTRICT CASUALTIES BULLS SOLDIER WOUNDED. 11l the latest list of casualties of the Second N.Z.E.F. are the names of two men from the Wanganui district. Driver R. B. McKenzie, one of them, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. S. McKenzie, Bulls, and is 26 years of ag». He volunteered early in the war for the Air Force, but was rejected, to be accepted later for the Army, and went overseas. He was educated at Wellington College and the Feilding Agricultural High School, later working on his father's farm. A keen member of the Bubs Defence Rifle Club and a good shot, Driver McKenzie often competed on the Putiki Range. Driver W. V. Mosen. reported killed in action, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Mosen, Raetihi, and went overseas with the Second N.Z.E.F. He received his education at the Raetihi School and when he enlisted was employed by the Public Works Department.
