ITALIANS FACING EMPIRE TROOPS
TYPICAL COMMENT BY GAYDA ROME, Aug. 12. Il' Duce's spokesman, Signor V. Gayda, writing in the Giornale d’ltalia, states: — “The Italians in Africa are facing Australian, New Zealand, South African, British, and Indian troops who lack the war spirit and have inferior command, will, and organisa tion when facing the manly, warlike qualities of the Italians. This explains the British retreats.”
