CHRISTMAS GIFT
SOLDIERS OVERSEAS PARCEL FOR EVERY MAN APPEAL FOR FUNDS It is the wish of the National Patriotic Council that every New Zealand soldier serving overseas, whether in Great Britain or Egypt, should receive a Christmas gift parcel from the people of New Zealand. In all, 30,000 parcels will be required, consisting of the following articles: One plum pudding, lib. net, in sealed tin. One Christmas Cake, Ulb. net. in sealed tin. Three Is tablets of chocolate, in sealed tin. Three packets of chewing gum. One tin of sandwich paste. One tin of sheep's tongues. One cake of soap, in sealed tin. One tin of coffee and milk.. One tin of cigarettes. One Christmas card. In selecting these articles the aim lias been to give to our soldiers, as far as possible, the products of their A own country. Many donors will doubtless be pleased to supply the value of more (han one parcel. Again, others who may wish to contribute their share, may not feel able to contribute 10s for a complete parcel. In such cases, any smaller sum of money will be equally acceptable as part payment of
