ARMY TEAM’S VISIT TO WANGANUI
COMPLIMENTARY LIST SUSPENDED DECISION BY COMMITTEE A decision that all complimentary passes be suspended on the day of the Army Rugby match in Wanganui, August 24, was reached at last night’s meeting of the Management Committee of the Wanganui Rugby Union. This will also apply to holders of season tickets. All the* proceeds of the match are to be devoted to patriotic purposes. Matters regarding the Wanganui team’s visit to Taumarunui on August 31 were briefly discussed. The appointment of a manager was held ’over until a later date. ! Those present at the meeting were i Messrs. J. Moye, C. Stewart, W. Deer'ness, A. W. Larsen, J. Richardson, and W. McElwain.
