COLLEGE RUGBY
COLLEGIATE SCHOOL TEAM FOR NELSON ANNUAL TOURNAMENT On Thursday the members of the first fifteen of the Wanganui Collegiate School will leave for Nelson to take part in the annual intercollege Rugby tournament. Competing teams will be Christs’ College, Wellington College, Nelson College and Wanganui Collegiate School. Matches will be played on Saturday and Monday, and Wanganui have been drawn to play Christs’ College on Saturday. Last year the tournament was played in Wanganui and was won by Collegiate School. The Collegiate School team for the tournament is:—Full-back, T. W. Smith; three-quarters, L. P. Ellis, A. B. Struthers, and M. C. Davies; liveeighths, H. L. Jones (captain) and K. K. Donald; half-back, I. D. Barton: forwards, G. F. Austin, C. C. Jordan, J. D. Herrold, H. R. Connop, P. B. A. Sim, R. S. Babin, R. C. Gibbons and T. E. Dodgshun. Reserves: W’. B. Higgins and K. Douglass (forwards), and A. Alexander and M. G. Spencer (backs). Mr. T. Latham, a master at the 1 school, will accompany the team. Jones, Gibbons and Austin are old ' caps.
