WANGANUI SAVAGE CLUB

KORERO HELD VARIED PROGRAMME OF ITEMS Savage Ross Tulloch presided at the Wanganui Savage Club korero last Saturday night, when a varied programme was submitted. The orchestra, under the conductorship of Savage Otto Naumann, played several numbers. Songs were sung by Savages Peter Buchan and H. J. Sanders. Other items included a pianoforte duet by Savages B. Sutcliffe and Adams, a novelty item bySavage G. H. Bensel, and a pianoaccordion solo, “La Paloma,” by Savage J. Johnston. All the items were encored.

The production of sketches is becoming a feature of the koreros and those presented on Saturday night showed that much thought had been put into the work. Those taking part in sketches were Savages E. Lind, W. L. Burgess, and B, Sutcliffe; Savages

G. Langslow and M. Bourne; Savage.E. Poynter, W. Bourne, ana Wans, borough; Savages J. Windelburn ant W. H. Ward. Among the visitors was Orphan Duke Hunter, from Hastings, who conveyed fraternal greetings from hi: club.
