FILM OF NAVAL BATTLE
CAMERAMAN MAKES HISTORY \ SECOND ATTACK AT NARVIK [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.] Received April 25, 85 p.m. LONDON, April 24. For the first time in history the film of a naval battle has been made while it was progressing. A naval cameraman, from the deck of a British ship, photographed the second battle of Narvik. The Warspite and other British vessels are seen going into the attack at dawn with all guns in action, the German ships and shore batteries replying. A number of German destroyers and transports are seen on tire and others beached. ( Other sequences show the capture of the transport Alster, despite efforts to scuttle her, and the rescue of the Hardy’s wounded. The newsreel will be released in Britain to-morrow and will offset the German film of the sinking of the Glowworm at present showing in Holland.
