HEARING OF WATERSIDE WORKERS’ DISPUTE MR JUSTICE TYNDALL'S FIRST COURT. [ P’r Association.] WELLINGTON, March 20. Bennett, general secretary of the New Zealand Waterside Employers’ Association, asked for an early fixture for the Dominion waterside workers’ dispute. The Court will give r n undertaking that if you and Mr J. Roberts (N.Z./ Waterside Workers’ Union (secretary) agree on a date the Court will fix that date. Mr. Bennett said the case would prcbably take four days. It was agreed to make a fixture on April 2. Mi. Justice Tyndall was pi.esii : ng over the first sitting of the Court in Wellington since his appointment and was welcomed by Mr. W. J. Mount joy for the employers, Mr. J. R. Hanlon for the Labour Department, and Mr. T. J. L. Tucker for the unions. All assured him cf the co-operation of those they represented. Wellington work will occupy the Court for at least two months. Several fixtures have been made to April 5.
