Mr. E. F. Hemingway, chairman of - the Wanganui Education Board, was t re-elected yesterday as the board’s t representative on the Board of Gov- . ernors of the Wanganui Girls’ College. Mr. W. H. Cocker has been reI elected president of the Auckland p University College at a meeting of the college council. Mr. A. H. Johnstone. K.C., has been re-elected vice- 1 ? president. Mr. 11. P. West has resigned from the position of secretary oi the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, which he ! has held for nearly 12 years. His re--1 signation will take effect at the end of August. * Mr. Adrian Seligman, formerly master of the barquentine Cap Pilar, which visited New Zealand in 1937 on a world cruise, has been appointed ' second officer of the new Royal re--1 search vessel Research, which is now L fitting out at Dartmouth. s —'—- ■
