SOUTH ISLAND SHIELD. JUDGING IN LONDON. LONDON, March 21. The South Island district lamb competition chalelnge shield resulted; Southland 1 East Southland 2 Central Otago 3 Individual pens: Mid-Canterbury pen 46; 1; Southland pen 87, 2; South Otago pen 17, 3. The judges were highly pleased with the quality of the lambs and congratulated the New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, on the fine display.
