SOCIAL AND DANCE

ST. BARNABAS’ TENNIS CLUB The first social and dance of the season was held last Wednesday in St. Barnabas’ Hall, Durie Hill, in aid of the tennis club funds. The hall was beautifully decorated with coloured streamers and miniature electric lights and was very gay in appearance. An orchestra provided the music and several extras were played by the visitors. Mr W. J. Gillies acted as M.C. Mr Ted Wilson (club captain) organised the programme, in conjunction with the committee. Items were given by Cicely Greagor (sword dance), Kathleen and Joan Ralph, Miss Swan’s pupils (balloon dance),” Noelene Higgins (Highland fling), Joan Ralph (skipping dance), Mr P.
