CASTLECLIFF CLUB
EASTER TOURNAMENT DRAW FOR TO-MORROW The Castlecliff Golf Club’s Easter tournament commences to-morrow morning with one qualifying round of 18 holes, players qualifying on net scores for match play, on handicap, in the Castlecliff, Cornfoot and Kiwa Handicaps. The first round of match play will commence in the afternoon, the second round on Saturday afternoon and the semi-finals and finals on Monday. A Stableford bogey will be played on Saturday morning and bogey matches on Friday afternoon and Monday morning. A four-ball best-ball bogey will be held on Monday afternoon. Over the week-end a mixed Canadian foursome will be played and for those players who cannot obtain partners in this event a bogey match will be played. Owing to the large number of entries and the fact that players qualify in sections according to their handicaps, also that the first round of match play takes place in the afternoon, it is necessary that players be at the starling tee on time, otherwise they will not be able to enter the qualifying round.
