Loyalists Upset Plan THE TERUEL VICTORY NO DIVISION OF TERRITORY THE FIGHTING CONTINUES (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) BARCELONA, Dec. 22. Fighting is still in progress. The whole southern zone of Teruel is in Government hands, but resistance is still being encountered in the northern part of the old town. A Paris message states that the newspapers point out that the Government victory ends General Franco’s plan for cutting Republican Spain into two parts. A Madrid message states that the Government captured 12,000 prisoners, many heavy guns, and piles of equipment at Teruel.
BLOW AGAINST FASCISM BRITISH LABOUR PARTY PLEASED. LONDON, Dec. 22. T he Non-Intervention Sub-Com-mitlec agreed on all outstanding points regarding the withdrawal of volunteers from Spain. It also agreed upon the manner in which the questions still outstanding concerning the granting of belligerent rights, should be dealt with.
