OBITUARY
MR. CHRISTIAN NAGEL The death of Mr. Christian Nagel, at the age of 81 years, which occurred yesterday, robs Wanganui o. one of its most respected residents. The late Mr. Nagel was connected for many years with the custody oi schools in this city, and in this capacity he was a well-known ligure. His obliging nature was' always appreciated by the people with whom he came in contact, and ho is well remembered by many teachers and pupils. He came from Marton 42 years ago and had been a resident of this city since that time. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. A. M. Nagel, a daughter. Mrs. T. Hawkes (Invercargill) and five sons, Henry, Christian (Australia), Harold, Ernest (Auckland) and Thomas.
