“Orient” Comes Sailing Home!

Dear Wendy, This letter vzill undoubtedly come as a surprise to you. Many years have elapsed since writing you last and the adventures I experienced during that period would surely fill several books.

I am now residing in Marton and J am bu>y at establishing a businew of my own in Broadway. I was pleasantly .surprised to be remembered th “Orient” by “Peter Pan .11” and another whose name I have yet to discover. The latter insisted I should write to you and even promised to follow the example. I cannot resist the temptation of renewing old acquaintances ami review once again reminiscences of happy days gone by. I’m sure each one of us treasures the memory of our school days and lingers on the thoughts of them. My old pal and pardner, “Occident,” and 1 haven’t met for several years, but I hope to see him in the near future. I could give you ?nany accounts of my voyage to China and the wonderful trip I had coming back ba* as it is late 1 will await a more favourable time. For the present an revoir an<! cheerio to the Ites. Regards.—“OKl ENT,” Marton. How very wonderful to have ton back with us in our merry Land of Makebelieve after your long absence in China. Everyone will be absolutely astounded to see that you have remembered us. I would like to have accounts of your journeys, for lam sure they will be of great interest to all our clan. Do write again soon.—Wendy.
