LULL IN NEGOTIATIONS THE SEASON STATED. 1 .ONDON, May 26. The Associated Press understands that the reason for the lull in the Pacific shipping negotiations is that the companies are studying the British and Dominion Governments’ requests for detailed information of their profits on all lines in which they are concerned. It is understood that the companies have been informed that if a subsidy is granted in the Pacific it will take account not only of the losses there, but the prolit s on otln;r routes.
