f. DRIVER EXONERATED. ( Per Press Association. ) GISBORNE. Alay 26. In the Supreme Court, before Mr. !- Justice Reed, a verdict of not guilty ? was returned against Jacob Ngatai, of o Opotiki, charged with negligent drivi ing causing the death of Martin Aloni, 1. and actual bodily injury to Gki Aloni. \ The charges were the sequel tn a smash f, on the Waioweka Road on November - 30, when a car driven by Ngatai hit a stump and capsized.
