LUCKY HOME COMING

Returning home from sea a day earlier than expected, a Grimsby fisherman recently saved his wife’s life. When Air. Albert Raven, aged 38, of Trinity Street, received no response to his knocks, he forced his way into the house, and was confronted bv a strong smell of gas. Rushing upstairs, he found his wife Esther unconscious in. bed. All the gas. taps in the house were turned off, and it is stated that a leak was discovered in one of the pipes. Mrs. Raven recovered.
