LECTURE AND DEMONSTRATION

OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT. To-night in the Opera House Madame Lauri Alwyn will lecture and demonstrate her effortless exercises for health and beauty. These exercises are famous all over the world, especially the corrective exercises for women, and no doubt the women of Wanganui will be most interested in the demonstration this evening. Madame Alwyn will be assisted in the demonstration by a group of ladies from Palmerston North. These ladies were class pupils <•£ madame's during her visit to that city and the women of Wanganui will have the opportunity of seeing what can be accomplished by taking these exercises. This is definitely Madame Alwyn's last appearance on the lecture platform in New Zealand as she is booked to sail for Sydney on June 4. She will leave Wanganui on June 3 and may bn interviewed by appointment at Foster s Hotel until that date.
