Gardiner and K. Mchvvass lost to P. Palmer and P. Wills; J. Cunningham and P. Blyde won from C. Boswell and D. Bchwass; J. Campbel, and N. Blake lost to W. C. Glenuy and G. Meharry; E. Oakley and 1. ALooie lest to H. Cornwall and K. Meharry; C. Roots and C. Palmer won from W. Barclay and E. Clarke; C. Wills and Deebv wen by default from Carlyle. FATEA RIFLE CLUB. HAMEPvTON CUP. Ou Saturday the members of the Palea Rille Club held their final trophy shoot for the Hamerton Cup, the conditions being seven shots at 390 yards with open sights and no slings. Dep.Pres. D. Roots proved to be the winner off scratch. The scores were:—Dept.Pres. D. Roots 32 (scr.), 32; Rfljn, N. Coad 27 (3), 30; Rfim. N. Mitchell 27 (3), 30; Rfim. T. Floyd 26 (4), 30, Rflm. R. Vinten 22 (6), 28; Rflm. LDavidson 25 (2), 27; Rflm. J. Bates 21 (2), 26. Next Saturday Dr. Simmons’ Cup wi’l be competed tor between the Returned Soldiers v. Territorials v. Mounteds. Conditions will be fired under military cenditioi’s at 300 and 500 yards.
