POSITION OF LOCAL BODIES INTERESTS NOT PROTECTED WAITOTARA COUNTY’S DECISION ‘'This county- is of the opinion that the interests of local bodies are not being sufficiently protected by stay’ orders,” was the text of a resolution moved by Cr. L. H. Jones and carried at yesterday’s meeting of the Waitotara County Council when a decision of the Adjustment Commission was received. It was decided to send the resolution to the Counties’ Association as a remit. The chairman, Cr. W. Aforrison, commented that the stay orders affected every county council in. the Dominion.
