REPERTORY THEATRE
“THE YOUNG IDEA.” PRESENTATION NEXT WEEK. The Wanganui Repertory Theatre is presenting Noel Coward’s successful play. “Thet Young Idea,” at a public performance on Thursday, December 5. This is one of Noel Coward’s most successful plays and met with phenomenal success in England and America. The first and second acts of the play are set in an English country home in one of the hunting shires. The author shows, with delightful satire, the groove in which the minds of the hunting set run, the futility of their converstaion, the childishness of their humour, and the rules and regulations which govern their morals. In the third act the audience is transported to sunny Italy, where the finale of the story takes place. For this act- special scenery has been painted which, with a delightful stage setting, makes a charming contras: to the first and second acts. The cast is an excellent one anj is composed of experienced players. The production is in the hands of Mrs. T. L. Sperrimr
