SHIPMENTS TO UNITED KINGDOM The New Zealand Meat Producer* Board is advised by its London office that the shipments from Australia, South America, and South Africa to the United Kingdom duriuff th© Iret half of November were as follow: Australia.—-34,519 carcases mutton; 610,299 carcases lamb; 20,982 quarter# beef (frozen); 8317 quarters beef (chilled). South America. —2614 carcases mut« ton; 214,564 carcases lamb; .717 quarters beef (frozen); 238,363 quarters beef (chilled). South Africa.—3s49 quarters beef (chilled). The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the first half of November were as f0110w:—47,402 carcases mutton; 101,008 carcases lamb; 1966 quarters beef (frozen); 6346 quarters beef (chilled). Shipments of meat from New Zealand from October 1 to November 15 were as follow, those for the corresponding period of last year being shown in parentheses:—Lamb, 172,051 carcases (157,481); mutton, 233,463 carcases (107,368); chilled beef, 10,103 quarters (1065); frozen beef, 38,337 quarters (64,211); pork, 36,321 earcases (59,484); boneless beef, 14,998 bags (15,847). Killings of fat stock for export at all Dominion works during the period October 1 to November 15 were as follow, those, for the corresponding period of last year in parentheses:— Chilled beef (quarters), 8933 (1065); frozen beef (quarters), 2537 (2236); wether mutton (carcases), 35,549 (.15,288); ewe mutton (carcases), 2713 (4035); lamb, carcases, 187,152 (241,394), pork (porkers), carcases, 31,880 (71,958); pork (baconers), carcases, 27,027 (24,202); boneless beef freight carcases), 12,153 (1292); sundries, 49,500 (34,851).
