VIENNESE BOY SINGERS
PLANS OPEN TO-MORROW. Box plans will be opened to-morrow moruing at the D.I.C. for the series of concerts to be given by the renowned Vienna Boys’ Choir in the Opera House, Wanganui, next Tuesday evening. The entertainment presented by these remarkably talented children is said by Australian critics to be one of the quaint-est, most original, and most captivating ever witnessed in these parts. In ttheir presentations of the several types of Viennese music, at once so casual and so premeditated, so compact of vitality and insinuation, these young boys display the stylistic and inherited artistry which rests upon a foundation of good taste, and can neither be imitated nor acquired. No better ambassadors for Viennese music could be found than these charming little people, who exchange cassocks for sailor suits and silver wings for lovelocks, w’ho obey every indication of their conductor with affectionate docility, and bow and curtsey to their audiences with the grace and decorum of cavaliers of court ladies. For the Wanganui concert reserved seats will be available tQ children at half-price.
