CHORISTER CLUB
GAOL INMATES ENTERTAINEDPROGRAMME OF BONGB. The officials and inmates of the A', an* ganui gaol were entertained last evening by a talented company of ten boys from the Christ Church Choristers’ Club, who supplied a varied programme of glees, part songs, ami other items. They were trained by Air. O. Kitson. ami under his baton gave excellent renderings, which were much appreciated by the audience. The program me was as follows: — Chorus, “Come to the I’Aiir”; song, “Robin in the Apple Tree.” by B. Dauby; chorus, ‘‘Londonderry Air”; humorous item by Mr. O. Kitson; duet, “Orpheus With His Lute,” by B. Pritchard and E. Burgess: chorus, “Where'er You AValk”; humorous item by Mr. Q. Kitson; song, “The Swallows,” by B. Pritchard; chorus. “ Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes''; community singing; pianoforte solo by E Burgess, song and chorus, “Hhewara,’’ soloist, J. Orchard; chorus, “Bird Song at Eve-tide’’; glee, “Hush Thee, Aly Baby.” God Save the King. Air. Eric Burgess provided the accompaniment, and the company received the usual vote of thanks from Superin tendent Ching ami one of the inmates,
