The Canterbury Co.’s motor-ship Breeze is expected at Wanganui from Picton to-mor-row. The vessel will discharge general cargo from southern ports on Monday and is to sail that afternoon for Wellington, Dunedin. Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton. (Millward and Co.).

KAPITI EXPECTED TUESDAY. The coastal motor-ship Kapiti, with general cargo from Wellington and Lyttelton, is expected at Wanganui on Tuesday. She will return to Wellington after discharge. (Burgess and Co.). OREPUKI TIMARU TO-DAY. The Canterbury Co.’s «.s. Orepuki is scheduled to continue her Wanganui loading at Timaru to-day. She will complete at Lyttelton on Monday and Wellington on Tuesday. The vessel is expected here on Wednesday. (Millward and Co.). HOLMDALE LEAVES WELLINGTON. Holm and Co.’s s.s. Holmdale left Wellington last evening for Dunedin, where she is due to-morrow. The steamer will load for Wanganui at Dunedin on Monday, Oamaru and Timaru Tuesday, Lyttelton Wednesday and Wellington and Picton on Thursday. The Holmdale is expected at Wanganui on Friday, August 16. (Holm and Co.). STORM FOR BLUFF. The Canterbury Co.’s s.s. Storm cleared Wellington yesterday for Bluff, Dunedin and via porta. She is scheduled to commence her Wanganui loading at Bluff on Monday, and is to complete at Dunedin on Tuesday, Oamaru and Timaru Wednesday, Lyttelton Thursday and Wellington on Friday. The Storm is expected at the town wharf on Saturday, August 17. (Millward and Co.). NEW PLYMOUTH-ONEHUNGA SERVICE. HAUTURU TO-DAY. The Northern Company’s a.m.v. Hauturu expected at the town wharf this morning from Onehunga and New Plymouth. The Hauturu has sugar and general cargo for local discharge. She will return to northern I>orta via Picton. The Union Company's freighter Kalingo (2047 tons, Captain Ostenfeld) is to load at Newcastle and Sydney at about the end of Augifct for New Plymouth, Picton, and Wanganui. She is due here about the middle of September. (Millward and Co.) HOMEBOATS DUE. (To Load in Roadstead). PORT HUON TO-DAY. The C. and D. Line motor-ship Port Huon (8021 tons, Captain L. H. Swan) is expected to anchor in the Wanganui roadstead this morning. The vessel is to commence her Homeward loading immediately and sails on Monday night for Wellington, from which port she will proceed next Saturday to London and United Kingdom porta, via Cape Horn and Dakar. (Smith, Beauchamp and PORT FAIRY SEPTEMBER. The motor-ship Port Fairy, now en route to ’ New Zealand from London, is to commence her Homeward loading during discharge at Timaru s>n August 27, and will later complete at Oamaru, Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Auckland. She is due here early in September and is to clear Auckland finally on September ij for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar. FROM THE SHIP’S LOG. MARAMA LEAVES WELLINGTON. With passengers, cargo and mail, the Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Marama cleared Wellington yesterday afternoon for Sydney, where she is due on Tuesday morning. KALINGO BRINGING MAIL. When she left Newcastle for Auckland early on Wednesday morning, the freighter Kalingo had on board a quantity of Australian mail and Empire air mail for New Zealand. The Kalingo is due at Auckland on Tuesday and will return to Austrida bcfcie loading for Wanganui. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. 1). C. Champion has joined the Hauraki as third officer, relieving Mr. T.
