REVIEAV OF PAST SEASON. Following is the annual report of the j Wanganui and Old Boy 's Rugby Foot- | ball Club, which is to be presented to | the annual meeting to-morrow night: 1 Two teams were entered in the Wan- ! ganui competitions. The seniors per- j formed very well indeed, being run-ners-up for senior championship, and annexing the Charity Cup. This was the first material win the club has had for some years, and we trust that this year will see an even better recoi l. Much of the success is due to Air. K. S. Svcnson who coached the senior team, and we are very unfortunate to loose the services of this gentleman two has taken up residence in Hamilton. The juniors although playing several good games were hampered by injuries, and by players leaving the distiict, and were sometimes forced to take the field with one or two men short. We hope that the juniors will try and remedy this fault in the coming season. The club received very fair representation in the representative team and to these players we extend our congratulations. We also wish to congratulate our two valued members Arthur Bullock-Doug-las in again being selected to represent New Zealand, and Tan Mclntyre on his selection in the North Island team. During the season we suffered a loss by the departure from the club of Afessrs. AV. Howard, G. Seiwood, A. Green, D. Mclver, N. Svenser: and G. Pownall. A loss to Rugby in general and to the club in particular was the passing of Mr. L. Southcombc, and we extend to his wife and family our sympathy, and also to the relatives of Air. Geo. Morgan.
