RESULTS AT MELBOURNE. Received Nov. 9, 11.5 p.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 9. Canada with 83 points won the interEmpire schools sports. Victoria (58) were second and New Zealand (29) were third. There was a most thrilling race in the mile in which New Zealanders were first and second. The Empire Games broad jump champion, Richardson (Canada), was defeated by Letcher (Victoria) after a dead-heat. The track was heavy.
