GEORGE’S TRANSFER
HORSES FOR TRENTHAM, The Blenheim trainer T. R. George, who is transferring Ids activities to Trentham, took Synagogue down from Wanganui ’on Sunday, and the Rabbi colt is at present quartered in H. Telford’s stable in charge of E. Stammers. Synagogue is still showing the effects of his trip across the Strait last week and his work for the next week or so will be of a light nature. George himself returned to Blenheim on Monday to complete the arrangements for his transfer. He will come back to Trentham probably next week, and the three horses he will bring to join Synagogue arc Might, the Diaequenod five-year-old Diamond, and Boomerang, the two-year-old brother by Iliad to Might. The last-named is owned by Mr. V. Riddiford, whose stable at “Brentwood Farm” George may ultimately occupy. George anticipates building up a fairly strong team with additions during the next few months. None of the horses owned by George’s recent main patron, Mr. J. J. Corry, is likely to come to Trentham. It is understood that M. Reardon will take over charge of them in Blenheim.
