Kibblewhite (South Auckland), 26 — 13, 26—19. Men’s Championship First Life G. Hart (South Canterbury), beat E. J. Ross (Canterbury), 26—20. Final.—A. G. F. Ross beat Hart, 26 Second Life Semi-final. —Hartnell beat H. APenn (Canterbury),226,6 —6, and meets A. G. F. Ross in the final. Women's Championship First Life Third Round.—Airs. Caldow (Wellington), beat Mrs. Corbet (Otago), 26—2; Mrs. Watkins (Hawke’s Bay), beat Airs. Gilbert (West Coast), 26 15. Semi-finals. —Mrs. Caldow beat Airs. WANGANUI ASSOCIATION YESTERDAY’S RESULTS. The following are the results of the Wanganui Croquet Association games played yesterday in the inter-club doubles competition:— Mrs. Lynch and Air. Jarvie, Wanganui, lost to Mesdames Alichie and Clark, Gonville, 20—26. Mesdames Everett and Duncan, Wanganui, beat Alesdames Warnock and, Uttley, Gonville, 26—24. Alesdames Ogier and La Roche, Duric Hall, beat Alesdames Ralph and Bamber, St. Janies’, 26 —14. Alesdames Dixon and Morgan, Duric Hill, beat Alesdames Gilbertson and Walker, St. James’, 26 —23. Trophies at Ashhurst For the Anniversary Day meeting the Ashhurst Club was well supplied with trophies, handsome cases of cutlery being attached to both the Ashhurst Cup and the Hack Cup, while in the principal event a stop-watch went to the trainer of the winner and a gold-mounted whip to -the rider. At the conclusion of the big contest on. Alondaj last, Air. R. MacDonuld presented the case of cutlery to Mr. J. J. Corry, jvho took delivery of it on behalf of his daughter, Airs. Fuller, and also of the stop-watch, the trainer, T. R. George, being at Trentham. The whip was taken delivery of personally by F. Afullins. After tho hack contest, Air. W. McKinnon, the trainer of Werohia, accepted, on behalf of the owner, Air. F. Ormond, the case of cutlery which had been presented to the club by Mr. W. Grey, of Palmerston North. In each instance cheers were given for the respective owners, trainers and jockeys on the call of Air. AlacDona.ldL
