HIMATANGI ASSAULT

YOUNG MAN PLEADS GUILTY. [ Per Press Association. ] PALMERSTON N., Jan. 26. A further sequel to the incident at Himatangi in July last, when an elderly storekeeper named Sorensen, aged 83, was assaulted by two young men, was heard in the Magistrate’s Court when lan Hector Archibald Donald McDonald, 28, labourer, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault with intent to rob. He was committed for sentence to the Supreme Court.
