FIRE-PROOF AEROPLANE

BELGIAN’S INVENTION SUCCESSFUL DEMONSTRATIONS LONDON, Sept. 26. Major Van Rolloghem, a wellknown and highly decorated Belgian aviator, is coining to England to demonstrate his fire-proof aeroplane. The Major states: “1 got into a model cockpit, close myself in, light the petrol supply until the heat is 1200 degrees, and sit in this furnace unroasted for twenty or thirty minutes, until the fire is out. When open the cockpit will bo undamaged, and I will not even be warm.” Experts who have seen successful demonstrations at Brussels believe that Major Rolloghem’s invention may remove the danger of fire in the air.
