HIGH COMMISSIONER'S ADVICE. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated September 23, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— Tallow.—Market quiet at about last quotations. Hemp.—Manila market, dull and easier. Closing value “K” grade for October-December shipment, £l5 2s 6d. Sisal. —Market easier. No. 1 for January-March shipment, sold at £l7 15s; closing sellers for October-Decem-ber shipment, £l7. New Zealand.— Market unchanged. Common grade offered at £l3 7s 6d, but no demand. Eggs. —Market quiet. English, national pack, 13s to 18s; English, ordinary pack, 14s 6d to 16s; Danish, 10s to 13s; Australian, 141 b. to 161 b. per long hundred. 10s 6d to Ils 9d. Apples. —Steady demand hut no rise, in prices.
