This little volume contains details of results at all race meetings in New Zealand from August 1 to December 1, 1930, while in addition there are trotting results an! statistics too for the same period. Followers of form have thus a handy little guide which will furnish them with with the desired information 4 ‘in a nutshell,’’ as the saying goes. In addition to the results of racing, commencing with the second day of the Manawatu Racing Club’s winter meeting and including the Feilding and Takapuna spring fixtures, the pocket edition contains interesting statistics regarding wdnning owners, leading jockeys and trainers, and the winning sires and horses for the portion of the 193031 season covered, while there is also a list of fixtures to come and a directory of jockeys, with their addresses and riding weights. Taken altogether, the little volume is one that is indispensable to followers of form at this stage and it should be noted that it may be procured from all booksellers or from the printers, the Christchurch Press Co., Christchurch.
