SMALL BOY INJURED
KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR [ Per Press Association. 1 AUCKLAND, Nov. 14. Serious injuries were received by a six-year-old boy, Desmond Pickett, when he was knocked (Town by a motor car in Wellington Street, Freeman’s Bay, this evening. His condition at a late hour was critical. The boy was running across the road toward his home when the accident occurred. He suffered a fracture of the skull and a fracture of the left thigh. One headlight of the motor car was bent by the impact.
