NEW ARBITRATION BILL SYDNEY, Nov. 14. Among the first policy Bills of the new State Government will be one to amend the Arbitration Act, securing effective preference for unionists and the abolition of the loyalist unions formed within the Government services as the result of the 1917 stnxe troubles.
The Bill will also provide for a general revision of the 44-hour week and the repeal of the provisions permitting piecework, contracting or other systems of payment by results.
