MANY VIOLENT DEATHS

AMERICA'S BAD WEEK-END UNSEASONABLE WEATHER NEW YORK, Dec. 2. Violent deaths in the United States over the week-end already total 100 and are continuing to rise as the reports drift in over telegraph wires crippled by the unseasonable cold weather.

The majority of these fatalities are traceable to cold waves sweeping the country and causing street, trains and other accidents. Numerous lives have been lost in shipping and mines.
