AUCKLAND RACING CLUB
GENERAL ENTRIES DUE. The publication of the handicaps for the Auckland Cup and Railway Handicap, to be decided at Ellerslie on Boxing Day, serve to draw attention to the fact that general entries for the summer meeting of the Auckland Racing Club are due to close at 5 p.m. on Friday next. At the same time first forfeits are du e for the Great Northern Foal Stakes, Great Northern Derby and Royal Stakes, which will also be decided at the fixture. Acceptances for the handicap events on the opening day, and payments for the weight-for-age races, fall due on Friday, December 20.
