NEW CANDIDATES ( Special “Chronicle” Service 1 WELLINGTON, Oct. 5. Two of thc newest candidates of the United Party arc Air A. B. Sievwright and Air C. Black. Air Black will be the party’s youngest candidate. He is just 24 years of age. For five years past he has been committee clerk to the Goldfields aad Alines Committee, and since 1925 has acted as clerk to select committees on Public Finance. He has worked with such comniitte.es as thc one which investigated the Afotor Vehicles Regulations, and the Joint Samoan Investigation Committee. He was born in Reefton and will contest the Afotueka electorate against Afr R. P. Hudson. Afr A. B. Sievwright is + o stand for Otaki, against Air W. H. Field. Afr Sievwright is a Wellington barrister and has twice contested Wellington city seats in the Liberal interest. Originally he -was invited 1r» be a candidate for the Wairarapa seat
