Exhumation After 360 Years
The Spanish Academy of History has approval of a proposal to disinter the remains of Prince Charles, the eldest son of Philip 11. of Spain. The death of the Prince in 1568 aroused suspicions, and several dramas have been written about his unsolved fate.
A theory that has found support for three centuries is that the Prince’s father put an end to him by poisoning. If permission is obtained for the exhumation, the remains will be examined for traces of poison.
