“WON IN THE CLOUDS”

Al Wilson, the youthful aviator who literally 44 flew” to stardom as a trick and stunt flyer before the camera, appears in an entirely new atmsphere in “Won I The Clouds,’’ his latest Universal starring vehicle which comes to the New Grand Theatre here next Tuesday.

In this melodrama, laid in and around the tropical jungles of Africa, you may see some of the death-defying escapades which made the fearless bird-man so popular on the silver screen, his early life contributed greatly to his success.

Al’s early education was directed toward a business career, but after a few hectic months behind a desk he discovered his mistake and being somewhat mechanically inclined acquired a position in a machine shop. His skill and efficiency around motors soon landed him a job in an aviation school where he studied the rudiments of flying.
