WEDDINGS I FOSTER—AY SHFO R D Christ Church, Wanganui, was the scene of an unusually pretty wedding on Monday. April 9, when Ivy Frances, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Ayshlord. of Wanganui, was married to Leonard Cecil, second son of Mr and Mrs J. Foster, of Hawera. The service was conducted by the Ven. Archdeacon Creed Meredith, and Mr T. (.. Webb presided at the organ. • As she entered the church on the arm of her father, the bride made a very dainty picture in her bridal frock of shell pink mariotte, with a wide flounc ing of silver iace on the skirt, and finished with pink and silver flowers on the shoulder and waist. Her veil oi white tulle seallopped in pink, fell from a coronet of silver lace, and a beautiful shower bouquet of pink carnation.' and roses completed a very charming toilet. She was attended by Miss Mollie Toomath and Miss Jean Morton, who wor P early Victorian frocks of green and mauve georgette respectively, with , dainty little champagne lace hats and I shoes and stockings to tone. Father Brady, in St. Joseph’s Church, Taumarunui, and the wedding group was a very pretty one.
