Total: Rewa 7 sets 95 games, Huntcrville 17 sets 130 games. PLUNKET SOCIETY The annual meeting of the Hunterville brunch of the Plunket Society was held on Saturday. The annual report and balance sheet were presented. Both were considered satisfactory and unanimously adopted. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £2B 6s Id. The following officers were elected: President, Afrs T. A. Duncan; vicepresidents, Alesdames T. Chisholm, W. Fergusson, J. Bull; honorary secretary and treasurer, Airs A. G. Simpson; assistant secretary, Airs L. J. Thompson; committee, Alesdames Butement, R. Craig, R. G. Dalziell, Mair, Cunningham, J. Howie, P. Weston, W. Wilson, Higgins, Daldy, Brown, J. Leslie Lambert. Meeting of Committee A meeting of the committee was held afterwards. The nurse ’s report showed that there were 30 babies on the roll; and 8G visitors had called at the room during Alarch. The health of babies and mothers was satisfactory. The question of sending a delegate to the conference in Wellington in August was held over until a later meeting.
Aliss Pattrick, Director of Plunket Nursing, will visit Huntcrville shor-Ty when she will be entertained at afternoon tea in the Pavilion. Aliss Pattrick will deliver an address and the general public will be invited. When the date is definitely known full particulars will be advertised. PERSONAL Air G. Shanley of the local Bank of New Zealand staff is on annual leave. Airs Alartin Wells, of Marton, is at present spending holidays with relatives in Huntcrville. Air S. A. R. Mair, Huntcrville, has been re-appointed a member of the Local Government Loans Board for a further term of one year from April 1.
