NEW FLOATING DOCK GERMAN ENGINEER’S INVENTION BRITAIN IN NEGOTIATION FOE PURCHASE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Assn.—Copyright.l Received Feb run rv 22, 2 a.m. BERLIN, Feb. 22. A Hamburg engineer has invented a floating dock for effecting repairs on tho high seas. The dock is 200 yards long and is capable of a speed of 14 miles an hour. The base and sides consist of air chambers, which can be filled or emptied to lower or raise the dock, which is capable of dealing with ships of 15,000 tons.

Several foreign marine departments, including the British, are already iit negotiation with the inventor.
