SURPLUS EXPECTED
COMMONWEALTH REVENUE BIG CUSTOMS’ RETURNS Received April 6, 10.45 p.m. MELBOURNE, April 6. A substantial surplus in the Commonwealth revenue is anticipated at the end of the financial year. The Customs’ revenue for nine months totals £29,910,872, compared with the estimate of £27.900,000.
