WELLINGTON WAR MEMORIAL
(Per Press WELLINGTON, July 21. The question of the erection of a campanile and carillon as Wellington citizens’ war memorial was considered at a mooting of the committee this evening, when a representative attendance decided to proceed forthwith with the original proposal to erect a silent symbolical memorial on the Parliamentary grounds site. The conditions regarding the competition for competitive designs will be announced in the immediate future.
