Mr. T. B. Adams has been appointed Crown Prosecutor at Duueuia. Mr. A. H. Rabone, who has been ou a business visit to Australia, returned to Wanganui last evening. H' will be in town for a few days. By this afternoon’s train Mp David ■v McFarlane and two daughters leave for Auckland, to join th B>fu»’ on. Saturday for the South Sea Islands and Australia. They will be absent about two months. I Major J. R. Boose, C.M.G., travelling commissioner for the Royal Colonial Institute, who is visiting New Zealand, is at present in Wanganui. He and Mrs Boose are staying at Braeburn.
