MILK VENDOR FINED.

(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, April 26. At the Magistrate’s Court, William Thomas Henderson, milk vendor, was fined £2O for selling adulterated milk. The magistrate said the milk was unfit for consumption by infants. The defendant could, if he desired, sue his supplier if he believed he had watered the milk. John Shortall, milk retailer, was fined £5 and costs for selling milk under the standard.

The prosecutions were brought under the new regulations regarding freshness and staleness of milk.
