MR C. BIRD’S IMPORTANT SALE TO-DAY. John Coull gives particulars in our auction columns to-day of the sale which is to be held to-day (Thursday) on account of Mr C. Bird at his residence. College Street (just off Ingestre Street), beginning at 1 p.m. The catalogue is a particularly interesting one, as the contents of the residence could not be of better quality or more modern design. There are two Wilton carpets of best quality and beautiful pattern, tour black mohair rugs. Axminster carpet, and the whole of the furniture. which is oak. and in tip-top condition. There is also a quantity of Boulton and other ware. The auctioneer feels that this is a special offering of a first-class home, and thoseinterested in home furnishing should not fail to be there.
